East End Gallery Artists' Precinct - East End Gallery welcomes Wheatbelt artists. We aim to promote local artists by providing a central location to exhibit their works. We believe passionately in supporting local artists by giving them a venue closer than the city or larger regional centres to display and sell their works.
We also hope to put Beverley on the map of "places to visit" near to Perth, as we think Beverley is the best kept secret in the Wheatbelt within ninety minutes drive from the city.
The East End Gallery is owned by Michael and Kate Sofoulis. Michael is a metal sculptor of thirty years, predominantly using found metal objects as a basis for each of his sculptures. Michael views himself as facilitator and participant of the Gallery, providing a new location in the Central Wheatbelt for local artists, emerging and established, to have a place to exhibit their works.
The East End Gallery has been fours years in the making and proof that determination, passion and hard work can fulfill a dream.
"I always embrace the opportunities on offer by the local CRC, the staff provide us business owners' vital information to help us grow and promote ourselves. I find that connecting regularly with others that face the same struggles as I do reassuring and it is very comforting that I am not alone." Marlene Willson, owner of Unique State
